About AWE Funds
AWE Funds is an early growth venture equity fund investing in entrepreneurs who drive innovations for sustainability. It focuses on deep-tech and tech-led innovations within ClimateTech, Healthtech, Fintech, and Future of Work (Skilling) sectors, with a primary focus on India and selective overseas investments. The fund typically invests in post-revenue deep-tech companies at the Pre-Series A to Series A stage, though pre-revenue companies are considered selectively. AWE Funds aims to fund the commercialization of science with patient capital, hands-on support, and a gender-smart lens. Its India Fund, Achieving Women Entrepreneurs Early Growth Fund I, is a SEBI registered Category II AIF – Venture Capital Fund. AWE Funds also launched the AWE Fellowship program.
