Samsung R&D Institute India (SRI-B & SRI-N)

Samsung R&D Institute India — Bangalore (SRI-B) and Samsung R&D Institute India — Noida (SRI-N) are Samsung's two premier R&D facilities in India. Together, they run the Samsung Mobile Advance (SMA) program — a flagship global startup incubation and partnership initiative focused on advancing next-generation mobile technologies.

Samsung Mobile Advance Program

Rooted in Samsung's Open Innovation vision, SMA bridges the gap between deep-tech startups and Samsung's global mobile ecosystem. Launched in India in 2023, the program enables startups to develop breakthrough innovations that can be deployed across millions of Samsung devices worldwide.

Funding and Support

• Grant: Up to $50,000 for Proof-of-Concept development — no equity taken
• Access: Integration into Samsung's global mobile ecosystem
• Technology tracks: AI, XR, Security, Health, Camera, Audio, Wearables, and other Samsung mobile-related domains

Timeline (2026 Edition)

Application Submission: April – June 30 → Application Review: July → Pitch Day: September → PoC Demo Day (potential commercialization or partnerships)
