About AIIMS Patna Incubation Centre
AIIMS Patna Incubation and Innovation Council (APIIC) is a dedicated MedTech incubator established as an Inclusive Technology Business Incubator under the Department of Science and Technology's NIDHI initiative. Formally launched in March 2026, it is Eastern India's first structured MedTech incubation centre, supported by funding from Blockchain for Impact (BFI).
The centre supports healthcare startups through Ignition Grants, mentorship, clinical validation within AIIMS Patna's hospital infrastructure, regulatory guidance, and investor connections. It provides early-stage innovators a pathway to refine and test medical products in a real clinical environment. Eastern India has historically had limited MedTech representation, and APIIC is designed to change that by creating a structured environment where health innovators can thrive.
