What You Get
The scheme exempts or remits import duty on goods a startup brings into India, so you pay the price of the items without the customs duty that would normally be added — cutting the landed cost of imported equipment, inputs, or other goods. The value comes as a waiver of duty at the time of import rather than a cash payout, and any startup that needs to import goods is eligible.
