About this grant
The CDFD Technology Incubator Program at BRIC-CDFD is a life sciences-focused incubation initiative designed to support academic entrepreneurs, individual innovators, and startups working in biotechnology and allied disciplines.
Hosted at the BRIC-Centre for DNA Fingerprinting and Diagnostics (CDFD), Hyderabad, the incubator provides access to state-of-the-art research infrastructure including advanced genomics and proteomics cores, an Experimental Animal Facility, greenhouse, and shared high-end scientific instrumentation.
The program offers comprehensive support through co-working laboratory and office space, IP and technology transfer assistance, expert mentorship across technical, business, finance, legal, and regulatory domains, as well as networking and market linkages. The incubation is offered with zero equity dilution and is supported by an internationally reputed host organization under the Department of Biotechnology, Government of India.
