About this subsidy
When your SC/ST enterprise takes a stall at a domestic exhibition or trade fair under the Special Marketing Assistance Scheme (SMAS), the National SC-ST Hub also pays for someone to get there and staff it.
The scheme reimburses 100% of the actual to-and-fro fare for bus, train or air travel — limited to AC-III tier class — from the nearest railway station or airport to the place of exhibition, by the shortest route, for one SC/ST person per SC/ST enterprise, subject to a maximum of Rs. 10,000.
It pairs with the 100% built-up stall charge subsidy and the freight reimbursement for the same event.
