What is ReFlow 2026?

ReFlow 2026 is a national innovation hackathon from the IIT Bhubaneswar Research & Entrepreneurship Park (REP). Who can apply?

What are the themes?

The themes are Education & Awareness, Menstrual Literacy through Digital Storytelling, Sustainability & Waste Management, Data Analytics, Sustainability & Reusable Products, and Smart Devices & IoT. Each application must align with at least one theme.

What can I submit?

You can submit an innovative idea, a research concept, an early-stage prototype, a product, or a technology-enabled solution. The program accepts work at any maturity, from concept to working product, if it addresses one of the stated themes.

Is there prize money or a grant?

The organisers do not publish any prize amount, grant, or seed funding for ReFlow 2026, and the program pages do not state the terms either way. What is the timeline?

Applications opened on 15 June 2026. The last date to submit a proposal is 15 August 2026. Shortlisted applicants receive an email on 15 October 2026. The hackathon event runs in November-December 2026 (tentative) at the IIT Bhubaneswar campus.

Can I take part as a mentor, volunteer, or sponsor?

Yes. The organisers invite Expressions of Interest from mentors, experts, volunteers, collaborators, and sponsors through a separate "Join the Movement" form, distinct from the participant application.
