About Silicon Institute of Technology
Switchtech Incubator Foundation, an initiative of Silicon Institute of Technology, Bhubaneswar, was incorporated as a Section 8 Company on February 4, 2021. It has been recognized as an Incubator under the Odisha Start-up Policy-2016 since April 19, 2022, and is entitled to receive support from Start-up Odisha. The incubator aims to create an ecosystem that promotes entrepreneurship, strengthens the regional and national economy, and enables startups to develop new technology-based products. It focuses on identifying potential entrepreneurs, assisting them in building their ventures, and motivating students to pursue entrepreneurship. The foundation offers technical support, access to infrastructure including the host institution's research and teaching laboratories, and networks to foster innovation and the development of ideas, products, and businesses.
