About Federation of Indian Petroleum Industry (FIPI)
The Federation of Indian Petroleum Industry (FIPI) is an apex Society of entities in the hydrocarbon sector that serves as an industry interface with Government and regulatory authorities. It supports the Government in resolving issues and evolving policies and regulations, representing the industry on various government bodies. FIPI was formed on December 7, 2016, through the amalgamation of the Petroleum Federation of India (PetroFed) and Petrotech Society, to create a single platform and voice for the Indian petroleum industry.
