About WE-Bio (Women Entrepreneurs in Biotechnology)
WE-Bio runs as two six-month phases: an Incubation Phase to turn an idea into a business, and an Acceleration Phase focused on market validation, funding readiness and market access.

Who can apply: Women-led startups registered in Karnataka, working in life sciences (healthtech, agritech, industrial biotechnology, clean energy or environment/sustainability, among others).
How selection works: Administrative screening, then evaluation on scientific merit, commercialisation potential, value proposition, go-to-market strategy, scalability and sustainability by a panel of experts, followed by a selection committee that finalises the cohort.
