About this subsidy
Under the Industrial and Investment Policy of Mizoram 2025, a new MSME unit set up inside a Notified Industrial Area can claim back 25% of what it spends turning undeveloped allotted land into a usable site, up to a ceiling of Rs 10 lakh.
The catch is procedural and worth planning for: the Government of Mizoram must approve your plan and estimate for the land development before the work is done. Spend first and the claim is not admissible. The unit must be within 5 years of its existence to qualify.

What You Get
You receive 25% of the amount your unit spends developing undeveloped land allotted to it, with an upper ceiling of Rs 10 lakh. It is a reimbursement of actual expenditure, released against an approved plan and estimate, not an upfront disbursement. Prior approval of the Government of Mizoram on that plan and estimate is a condition of the claim.
