About this subsidy
Clause 3.4.4.ii of the Meghalaya Industrial and Investment Promotion Policy (MIIPP) 2024 gives small industrial units an additional incentive of 5% on the cost of plant and machinery, subject to a ceiling of Rs 50 lakhs.
The additional incentive applies where the majority shareholder is a physically challenged person or other special category individual and is a domicile of Meghalaya.
It sits on top of the standard State Capital Investment Incentive available to small units under the same policy.
