A: No, this is explicitly not a seed-stage or ideation program. We are looking for startups that have moved past initial validation and are ready to scale into global enterprise deployments.

Q: Do I need to be based in India to apply?

A: Yes, an India presence is mandatory. You must either be headquartered in India, have an Indian co-founder, or possess established operations or an engineering presence in India.

Q: Is there an application fee or equity requirement to apply?

A: No, applications are entirely free, and there is no equity commitment required from your startup to apply for the challenge.

Q: What are the benefits for winners and finalists?

A: Winners receive fast-track integration into Accenture's client pipelines, leadership mentoring, consideration for a strategic minority investment, up to $25,000 in non-dilutive cloud credits, and inclusion in partner programs like NVIDIA Inception. All finalists gain priority access to incubation at IISc Bangalore and become part of Accenture's innovation network.

A: Applications undergo two rounds of evaluation by senior Accenture Leaders and subject-matter experts. Shortlisted finalists then pitch to a jury of CXOs and investors at the Grand Finale, where one winner is chosen for each track.

Q: What if my solution spans multiple tracks, like robotics?

A: If your solution involves Physical AI, robotics, autonomous vehicles, or drones, the "Supply Chain & Engineering" track is typically the most suitable. For AI agents, choose the track where your solution delivers the most business value (e.g., finance-ops agent for Finance, sales agent for Song). If uncertain, pick one; our team will re-route if a stronger fit exists.

The Tech Next Challenge by Accenture is an annual program designed to identify and accelerate deep-tech startups. For its 8th edition in 2026, the challenge focuses on "Enterprise reinvention through Autonomous Technologies."
