About IMPACT
IMPACT is IPTIF's main funding call, run in successive rounds (a first call, then IMPACT 2.0, then IMPACT 3.0), each with its own set of categories and deadlines.
What you get: Grant support that scales with how advanced the technology already is — early prototyping and testing at one end, field validation and certification in the middle, and scale-up or pre-commercialisation support at the top end. IPTIF also offers help with pilot manufacturing and an academia-to-startup bridge for faculty spinning out a company.
Who can apply: Faculty members and researchers planning a startup spin-off, researchers with filed or granted patents, DPIIT-recognised startups, and MSMEs working in cyber-physical systems, energy, safety, healthcare, automotive, agriculture or defence.
How to apply: Each round opens separate categories by applicant type and technology stage, each with its own deadline — check the current IMPACT page on IPTIF's site for which categories are open.
